The new VNS website was released in March 2024. If you have registered previously in another version of the Alabama Victim Notification System, you will need to register again on this website.While this useful tool can keep you updated on an inmate’s status, it is ONLY for offenders who have been convicted in Alabama and sentenced to prison (to ADOC custody). If you are seeking information on a case that has not yet gone to trial, please contact the Sheriff in the county where the crime occurred.
